In addition to its proprietary format, Set Genie supports importing PDF, ChordPro, and OnSong (.onsong) files, and can export PDF, ChordPro, CSV, and plain text.
Yes. Data will sync between the iOS and macOS apps, provided the devices running both apps are signed into the same iCloud account. (Note: iCloud sync requires iOS/iPadOS 13 or higher, or macOS 10.15 Catalina or higher.)
To share songs with another Set Genie user, navigate to the master song list and click Export List. When prompted to select an export format, choose Set Genie.
To share a setlist with another Set Genie user, navigate to the setlist you would like to share and click Export. When prompted to select an export format, choose Set Genie.
To share a collection of setlists with another Set Genie user, first navigate to the Archived Setlists Manager. (On iOS, from the landing screen, click Utilities, and then click Manage Archived Setlists. On macOS, click the Utilities menu in the menu bar, and then click Manage Archived Setlists.) In the Archived Setlists Manager, select the setlist(s) you would like to export, and then click Export.
Songs can be shared in the ChordPro format, or as a plain text song list. To share songs in one of these formats, navigate to the master song list and click Export List. When prompted to select an export format, choose the format you would like to use.

Archiving deleted setlists allows Set Genie to continually improve its setlist generation capability by learning from your past song choices and orderings. Setlist archival also makes it easy to recover a deleted setlist. Archived setlists can be permanently deleted by navigating to the Archived Setlists Manager, selecting the setlist(s) to be deleted, and then clicking Delete.
Song and setlist tags help Set Genie choose appropriate songs when generating a setlist. They also make it possible to manage the songs for multiple groups using one master song list.
When you save a setlist, Set Genie analyzes your song selections and ordering to improve its accuracy when generating new setlists. This process can take several seconds, depending on device speed and the number of existing setlists.
